366T – Bless the Lord! Part 5

366T – Bless the Lord! Part 5

Good Morning! This is Miss Obed, an obedient servant of the living God, welcoming you to another season of Pocket of Prayer.

Podcast season 366 is upon us in our Word of the Month series based on Psalm 103.  God willing, today we will be reviewing verse 5 which reads this way:

“Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Hallelujah.  Bless the Lord! Part 5 – let’s pray.

Eternal God our Heavenly Father, I thank You so much, Dear Lord, for another privilege, another opportunity to praise Your Mighty Name on the internet.  You are THE Fabulous God our Maker and Creator – The Maker and Creator of heaven and earth and, on this Friday, Yom Shishi, I am praying that all the listeners from the north, the south, the east, and the west, from every continent on this earth, from all the isles of Your gorgeous seas, will be blessed by Your revelatory power through verse 5 of Psalm 103.  Father, I step back and ask that Your Holy Spirit would step forward and teach me what to say and what to pray. Teach me in Yeshua’s Name the needs of Your people so that Your intercessory power will flow in just the places they need it.  In Yeshua’s Mighty Name, I cover all the listeners – I cover their ears, eyes, nose, throats with the blood of Yeshua from the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet Dear God, that Your Word would keep them safe and warm, that Your Word would be a lamp unto them, a light unto them, a comfort unto them, and a blessing unto them in Yeshua’s Mighty Name as we go forward.  Amen.

What the Lord caused to come to my mind is not only nutritionally does He satisfy our mouths with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagles. Yes, He certainly does that – for everything the Lord has created for consumption as food on the earth (devoid of chemicals, processing, preservatives, additives, etc., because God has not created all of those things), the actual food that comes forth from the ground and that comes forth out of the trees, that comes forth from the hand of God to us – yes, everything the Lord has given us for food is good.  Everything the Lord has provided in properly fed and nourished animals that are for our use as food, the Lord has blessed and it is good; yes, certainly.

But what the Lord has impressed upon my spirit is that God will also put words of edification in your mouth.  He will enable you.  He was telling me that just this morning, “I will enable My people, if they allow it – if they yield to Me through submission, through obedience and seeking after Me, if they allow Me to – I will enable them and facilitate their ability to keep My command to them in scripture to let no corrupt communication proceed out of their mouths.” We’re told that in the New Testament: “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouths” but only those things that are for edification, only those things that build-up, that encourage, and that edify.  The Lord can guide your speech and keep you from falling, He can keep you from stumbling, if you but look to Him regarding that, and He will satisfy your mouth with those things that please Him and that will enable, therefore, His spirit to go in and rejuvenate, go in and restore, go in and renew, and go in and strengthen us all-over-the-place.  Also, in His scripture, remember, He says it’s not what you put into your body that defiles, but it’s what comes out of your mouth that will defile you.  So the Lord, if you allow Him, He says, will enable what comes out of your mouth to satisfy Him and to satisfy you, because it will reap a good harvest for you.  It will reap a return of blessing and invigoration and youth being renewed like the eagle’s.  I think that is fantastic.

And, of course, a good diet is going to result in good health and just be encouraged, there are still good things out there to eat that are not preserved, that do not have additives, that do not have refined sugar, that do not have things that are bad for you, basically, and also that taste good and that are not devoid of flavor.  Yes, ask the Lord.  “Blessed” does it all the time.  She is a marvelous label reader.  She is a very careful steward of the food that is cooked and that comes into our bodies, and that’s Holy Spirit in her and He is no respecter of persons.  What He does for one He will do for all, and we are not just eating vegetables all day.  Nothing wrong with vegetables, I was raised on vegetables, but we have ROUNDED meal necessities. Our bodies have need of various nutrients that God has supplied and again, “Blessed” is a living witness that, if you turn your concerns over to the Lord and put your prayer request into God to guide you to the foods that edify and nourish, He will do that.  And your youth will also be renewed in terms of bodily function, in terms of the things that we do need to be alive and well and healthy down here while we’re serving the Lord.  That is necessary.

I think that verse is really good.  I think it is … handy, but it also goes a little deeper than meets the eye with the Lord saying I will satisfy your mouth spiritually as well with the things that edify, with the things that PLEASE Me and therefore, allow My spiritual rejuvenation which sheds abroad through your physical body.  God is Good.  God is Marvelous.

Thank You so much, Father, for enabling our greater understanding of Psalm 103 verse 5 and I pray in the double portion, everything that we have learned thus far this week with verses 1 through 5 in our Word of the Month in Psalm 103.  It’s been a wonderful week, it’s been a prosperous week, it’s been a joyous week, it’s been a week of awe and wonder for this girl, that’s for sure, and I pray for all of the listeners as well.  I ask Father, for Your blessing in the double portion to go with us all throughout the rest of today, Yom Shishi (Friday), throughout Shabbat Kodesh (Saturday), throughout Yom Rishon (Sunday) as we gather at our own places of worship and we listen to the Word of God through the leaders He has designated and placed over us.  Thank You, Father.  Thank You, Dear God, for the body of Christ – from stem to stern – thank You, in Yeshua’s Name, for every part of it which is fit together and grows into a holy and anointed house unto You.  Every part is valuable.  Every part is esteemed, and every part is useful and blessed by You.  I thank You, Father, for Your Holy Word, for Your Holy people, and for Your Holy designation over us and our lives in Yeshua’s Mighty Name.  Father, I pray peace as well, in all of our valleys this weekend – Peace, be still – to be unto everyone who is listening.  In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit I pray and thank You, Dear Lord. Amen.

If you are reading this transcript, and you want to be saved, pray the Prayer for Salvation from our top menu, and give your heart and life to Messiah Jesus today! God bless you!

365T – Bless the Lord! Part 4

365T – Bless the Lord! Part 4

Good Morning! This is Miss Obed, an obedient servant of the living God, welcoming you to another season of Pocket of Prayer.

Our Word of the Month is proceeding nicely based on Psalm 103 and today will be, God willing, focusing on verse 4 of that Psalm which reads this way in both the King James and the Amplified:

“Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies.”That’s from the King James Version.

And from the Amplified, which is the Classic Edition, verse 4 reads this way:

“Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption; Who beautifies, dignifies and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercy.”  I think that’s beautiful.

I welcome all of you.  Those of you listening from the North, the South, the East and from the West. All over God’s green earth, all throughout God’s mighty seas – good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night.

Bless the Lord! Part 4 – let’s pray.

Eternal God our heavenly Father, thank You so much, dear Lord, for this walk through Your Word. For this journey through Psalm 103 which we are enjoying so much.  Thank You in Yeshua’s Name for giving us all things richly to enjoy, for blessing our hands and the work of our hands, for blessing and opening our minds and understanding.  Without Your illumination Holy God, we would have no understanding.  Without Your creative authority and power, we would have no minds – we would not exist – indeed we owe everything to You.  In the name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach Ha Notzri, Father, I stand in the gap between Your people and evil on Your behalf and I forbid the enemy any part or lot to the minds of those who are earnestly seeking to receive from Your hand the knowledge and the revelatory power You have stored up and prepared for us in our journey through this magnificent Psalm.  In Yeshua’s Mighty Name I declare that he has no part nor lot with any of the listeners – satan get thee hence in the name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach Ha Notzri, you and all your minions – you have nothing in this podcast, you have nothing in me or in any of God’s designated listeners, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name.  Angels of the living God, ministering and warring spirits, surround this podcast, surround all those who are listening and who desire to eat from the Lord’s hand and to enjoy His mercy poured out like water coming down like rain.  Let nothing penetrate, let nothing get through but the mighty hand of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to quicken and make alive all of our joy, all of our strength, all of our comprehension of His mighty and marvelous and WONDERFUL, powerful living Word in Yeshua’s Mighty Name.  And Father, I cover everyone listening with Your blood, and I commit them to Your hands, to Your authority, to Your abilities on our behalf as they listen and as they learn and as they are blessed just like You intend.  Holy Father, I step back now and ask that Holy Spirit will step forward to teach me what I will say, teach me what I will pray, teach me how to properly intercede on behalf of the masses listening to me via the internet.  They are Yours, Dear God, I am Yours, and the podcast is Yours, in Jesus’ Name.  In the Name of Yeshua Jesus I pray, Amen.

Well it’s wonderful listeners because this verse of Psalm 103, verse 4, when I approached the Lord in my heart for His exegesis – what He would have to say to me regarding the comprehension of my heart and yours in verse 4 – what I heard Him say to me is:  “Look to your own testimony on this one, and tell the listeners to look to their own testimony. Those who belong to Me. Tell them to recollect in strength and in joy – in honesty and in witness that is born of God, that is illuminated and empowered by God.  Tell them to recollect My loving kindness to them and My tender mercy.”  And I tell you what, when He asked me to do that, when I thought about – just for a few seconds – His loving kindness and tender mercies to me over the years… my eyes were not dry very long, let’s put it that way.  And in the Amplified Classic, verse 4 particularly touches me at the point of my testimony because – in crowning me with loving kindness and tender mercy where it says “Who beautifies and dignifies and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies” – as most of you know, I had a bit of a rough childhood, and a lot of things affected my psyche.  A lot of things affected my esteem in the way I looked at myself, and a lot of things affected the way I figured God would perceive me, and I know that’s silly – but we’re all silly sometimes – and in His loving kindness (I’m going to try to get through this) in His loving kindness and His tender mercies – just in showing forth and pouring out His truth, the truth of His love for me, the truth of His compassion for me – just hearing who I am for the first time back then and what I was made for, brought beauty back to me.  I had not thought of myself as a beautiful girl in years – in years – because my identity had been so frayed and had become so mixed-up and had just gone away from me and faded away – it had faded to black, believe me – to where I could not see my way ahead for years.  But when the Lord reached down, and I mean He reached WAY DOWN for me – When He reached down with His love He beautified me and He told me, “You are beautiful.  You Are Beautiful.”  And Holy Spirit said, “Remember, I cannot lie.  I cannot lie.”  And in knowing that the eternal God claimed me as His daughter and softened me, and feminized me, and showed me the beauty of being who He created me to be – in holiness and in righteousness, and in femininity – that restored my dignity. I had allowed the enemy to take my dignity from me.  In all of the crooked spirit that was in me through what I went through from 11½ – all of that had ended up with me not even feeling like a deserving human being and God was kind to me.  He lifted me up, He restored me, He forgave me.  He called me His daughter.  He called me beautiful.  He showed me the beauty He had put in me.  He showed me my purpose and He gave me back my dignity.  I no longer felt like I wasn’t human.  I no longer felt unloved and lost.  And these were feelings that I did not even share with my mother, but I shared them with God – and I’ll tell you my mother was thrilled to look at me being restored.  I think in some ways she didn’t really want to know all that I had been through.  I had been away from home for about 4 years and I went through everything, basically (maybe not everything but more than I had to), but God restored me in large part in answer to her prayers, and He blessed me, and He crowned me with beauty and dignity and tender mercies.  The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy.  We’ll discover that in this Glorious Psalm in a day or two.  I love the Lord.  That’s the kind of testimony that the Lord wants you to think of to bring back to your remembrance – those of you who have been redeemed from destruction, who have been snatched, literally snatched, from the hand of the enemy and from hell – He wants you to remember Him for doing those types of things – what – so that He can feel good about Himself?  No… so that YOU can feel good about yourself so that above all you will Bless and Glorify and Magnify Him, and so that the love in your heart for Him will only increase. That’s what He wants – because God craves relationship with us.  He wants to know us and love us and talk with us and enjoy us daily.  He wants to befriend us and us befriend Him.  He wants to be our closest confidant.  That’s the God – That’s the God we serve.  Psalm 103 verse 4 is GLORIOUS.

So, Father, in the name of Yeshua I just pray that everyone listening will open their hearts to the remembrance of You and how You picked them up and saved them from the pit – each and every listener who belongs to You.  That Your Name will be Glorified FOREVER because You alone are worthy.  You alone are worthy.  I cover and cleanse every listener with the blood of Yeshua by Your power Father, by Your power that You have given me in commissioning me as Your intercessor in Yeshua’s Mighty Name.  Hallelujah.  That Your keeping power would rest, rule and abide with them ALL now henceforth and forevermore, and day, by day, by day.  Intercession is not a short-term thing.  It is a merciful, patient, loving, compassionate thing – born of the compassion of the Living God, and I bless the Lord for His mercy shown upon me and enabling me to intercede on behalf of His body and on behalf of myself in Jesus’ name.  I appoint this day, Holy Father, to all of Your plans and purposes and glory in our lives.  In Yeshua’s mighty name I cover this entire thing with the blood that it will remain, and that it will germinate, and that it will bloom, and prosper, and grow, and edify, and enrich, and enhance all who are listening, Father, always; not just today but for the rest of their lives – every time they bless You and remember You – remember what You did for them.  For You are worthy of all of our praise and adulation and adoration – no one but You is worthy.  In Yeshua’s name, Holy Father, I thank You, Amen.

If you are reading this transcript and you are not saved; you do not know the Lord or what is written in His Word, then you do not bear the benefits of the written Word of God, His scripture, or His eternal life… if you are reading this transcript and you want to be saved, pray the Prayer for Salvation from our top menu, and give your heart and life to Messiah Jesus today.

362T – Bless the Lord – Part 1

362T – Bless the Lord – Part 1

Good morning! This is Miss Obed, an obedient servant of the Living God, welcoming you to another season of Pocket of Prayer.

I am so happy and so glad to be joining you again on this early Monday, Yom Sheni.  The Lord has called for another Word of the Month – Hallelujah.

If you recall, in December we had the first ever Word of the Month series on the podcast and that focused on Psalm 91.  It was a very successful, very insightful, marvelous delve into the miracle that is Psalm 91.  Well, God willing, this Word of the Month series also focuses on a Psalm, that being 103.  Psalm 103. And the theme which marks the entire month of February for this Word of the Month is “Bless the Lord”.  Bless the Lord. Hallelujah.  This is Season 362 and, away we go in the name of the Lord, with Bless the Lord Part 1. Let’s pray.

Eternal God our heavenly Father, Oh, I am so thrilled to be doing this again. These studies take us deeper than we would go by ourselves, God.  These are awesome studies and exegesis that come from Your heart. That make it so much easier for me, let me just tell You, and so much more edifying and blessed, because directly as You desire to speak to all of Your children Your Heart is expressed to me every time I come before You for the next part and the next part and the next part.  Father, You are generous beyond measure. You are an exciting God.  You are a Wonderful God. You are the God of joy and I bless Your Holy Name.  So Father, I step back, not only today but for the entire month and length of this series, all 22 verses, and I ask that Holy Spirit would step forward and pray for me, teach me what I will say.  Bless the hearers, bless those who stop by to listen every single time they stop by to listen.  Edify our souls, Sweet Jesus.  Enable us to glean and to reap what You have sown in Your word, Dear God, for our benefit and our blessing.  Cause us to be a blessing to You and to others in the hearing and in the learning and in the comprehending of it by Your Spirit, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name.  I cover all the listeners with the blood of Jesus from the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet, inside and out. Make us all of a mind and a posture, Father, an attitude to listen, appreciate, and adhere to what Your Spirit is saying to us through Psalm 103, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name, Amen.

Verse 1 is simple, or so it seems.  Verse 1 of Psalm 103 says:  Bless the Lord, O, my soul; and all that is within me, Bless His Holy Name.

Yes, Sir. Hallelujah.  And as I was sitting before the Lord before this recording and just listening carefully to what His heart was saying to me, I heard Him specify and pull-out three specific parts of this verse to explain to my heart.  And I am so grateful to Him because I have no idea of any kind of depth of meaning.  I, like you, have what I think it means; and what it says on the surface is beautiful enough (in my opinion) and weighty enough to just send one six inches above the earth all day long – to have you just soaring – and take you from earth to Heaven, frankly, because God inhabits the praises of His people, and blessing God is praising God. But as always, as we have shared during these words and during everything in the podcast, God always has MORE, doesn’t He? He always has more.

He brought to my attention, of course, the word “Bless”, because we are commanded to bless.  We are commanded in other Psalms, like Psalm 100 to “…be thankful unto Him, and bless His name…” Hallelujah.  Bless His Name – Bless the Lord.  He says, “I Am the Lord, that is My name”. So, it’s interesting, you are, like, okay we are commanded to bless.  Father, we are commanded to bless, but specifically – Your name. What is that about? Break that down for us in this verse, this crowning verse of Psalm 103.  This journalistic verse in that Psalm 103’s anchor verse, just like Psalm 91’s anchor verse, is verse 1. And then it correlates to other verses as we go on. I think that is so cool, and I think you can tell I am so stoked.  My embers are definitely stirred to flame with this because I love the Lord’s exegesis.  I love learning from Him, asking Him questions, and hearing His answers.  I love soaking this in by Holy Spirit’s power and being edified.  There is nothing better than sitting at the feet of the Lord, as far as I am concerned. And even as He said in scripture, “Mary has chosen the better part”; she sat, remember, at the feet of the Lord while Martha did the housework. And the Lord said, I’m not going to ask Mary to get up and come help you because she is at My feet and learning from Me, she is soaking in what I have to say, her ears are alert to My words.  She has chosen the better part, and it will not be taken from her.  Hallelujah.  So, I am definitely a Mary. That is for sure.

Verse 1 – “Bless the Lord, O, my soul; and all that is within me, Bless His Holy Name”.  He focused me on the word Blessed which, in the Amplified [version], basically says: affectionately, gratefully, praise.  Hallelujah.  The first word He had given me was; extol – life up.  Hallelujah – magnify, extol affectionately, gratefully, praise.

The next phrase He brought to me out of verse 1 – “my soul”.  Bless the Lord – who is the command going to? Us – our soul.  We know that our soul is our mind, our emotions, and our will.  So, the Lord said, every part of our mind, emotions, and will – everything that thinks, that feels, and that makes decisions within us and within our lives is commanded to Bless the Lord. Hallelujah.

“Bless the Lord, oh my soul; and all that is within me, Bless His Holy Name.”  “Holy Name” was the next phrase, and He said My Holy Name is My set apart, uniquely and powerfully other.  Hallelujah.  That’s Who It Is.  That’s His Name. His name is set apart – unique and powerfully other.  In other words, having nothing at all to do with what mankind would think are attributes of the flesh.  Absolutely Not.  The Lord is completely, He is wholly, (W H O L L Y) other.  Hallelujah.  And He said, My Holy Name is My Authority, My soul, MY soul – how about that – God’s mind, emotions and will.  My authority, My soul, My reign and rule, My being and sovereignty.  Hallelujah! I could dance all over this studio. Whoa, Nelly!  So we are, children of God, commanded in scripture to joyfully and gratefully and affectionately, with love, with loving kindness, with gratitude, with mushiness and tenderness… with affection, we are to extol with everything that is in OUR mind, emotions, and will.  Everything in us that thinks and feels and makes decisions.  Hallelujah. With everything of that, we are to bless. And WHO are we to bless?  The Lord! Hallelujah!  He says, I Am the Lord, that is My Name, and My glory (My presence, My hangout with My kids) I will not give to another.  No Sir.  Neither My praise to graven images.  Nuh-uh.   Hallelujah.  I bless and bless and bless His Holy Name.  Yes, sir.

That is Psalm 103 verse 1. May the Lord ever add a blessing of power, praise and enlightenment to the reading, studying, the exegesis by Holy Spirit, of His precious and blessed, Holy word.  In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

Father, I press every single bit of Your exegesis of this Psalm, this marvelous Psalm 103, into all of the listeners, into all of the hearers [all of the readers] and to everyone who has a heart and a mind to understand and to be open to You and to clutch You to their breasts in love, gratitude, and in affection – utmost affection.

I press this podcast season into them in Yeshua’s Mighty Name with Your blessing, from the crown of their heads to soles of their feet, and inside and out. Let them carry the joy of this thing with them throughout the entire day, Father.  Bless them as they have never been blessed before in every way and in every area of blessing.  Father, I commit them to Your hands; their day, their afternoon, their evening, their night; everything about them and everybody they care about, in Yeshua’s mighty name.  I ask for Your mercy and Your blessing to be upon them.  For Your grace to go before them, beside them, within them and behind them in Yeshua’s mighty name.  That they will be guided, comforted, refreshed and watched over in Yeshua’s name.

Father, I commit and commend them to You and I appoint this day to all of Your purposes, plans, and glory in our lives.  That we will always be the lights of the world that You intend us to be.  That we will point others to Your exegesis of this Psalm for the month – that they will be participants in Your joy, in Your knowledge, and in the revelatory power that comes off of Your work in these Psalms – off Your work in Your entire Word from cover to cover.  I bless your Holy Name.  In Yeshua’s mighty name, Father. This day is Yours and we are Yours.  Amen.

If you are reading this transcript, and you are not saved, you do not know the Lord or what is written in His Word, then you do not bear the benefits of the written Word of God or His eternal life… if you are reading this transcript, and you want to be saved, pray the Prayer for Salvation from our top menu, and give your heart and life to Messiah Jesus today! You won’t regret it!

347T – It Is Written, Part 1

347T – It Is Written, Part 1

It’s time for another season of Pocket of Prayer. Good morning, afternoon, evening, night! This is Miss Obed, an obedient servant of the Living God, welcoming you to the podcast. I pray that your weekend was everything that the Lord wanted it to be for you. Hallelujah!

We have another podcast series this week, and it will be just for the week, but it is coming out of the Book of Matthew, chapter 4 and I think it’s cool because the beginning of that chapter is familiar to probably every Christian and even some non-Christians, because it deals with the temptation of Christ in the wilderness. But the thing I think is particularly cool – and, God willing, I will be reading verses 1-10 momentarily – the part I think is awesome is that the Lord has asked me in this series to focus on the answers of the Lord. It’s like Holy Spirit was saying to me that there is embodied in just those three answers of the Lord – Christian living! I for one have been in the past so concentrated on just the exchange and, of course, you route for Jesus and you celebrate the victory He had over the enemy whereas Adam and Eve were defeated. But I have been so preoccupied in the past with the general exchange in how He came out victoriously, I haven’t concentrated just on the words of Yeshua in answer to the enemy’s offerings and temptation and the Lord wants us this week to pay attention to what Yeshua says as He explains it and as He opens it up to our understanding and blesses our hearts thereby.

So the topic of this week’s prayer series is, accordingly, It Is Written. Let’s pray:

Father, thank You so much for the scriptures that are laid out so plainly to us and for us and for Holy Spirit Who is more than willing and ready, and certainly capable of explaining according to Your heart and mind every word of the scriptures and guiding us in our focus.  I thank You so much, dear God, for Your patience, love, and desire for us to layer by layer know deeper things of You more and more clearly. Matthew chapter 4 in the KJV says,

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward hungry. And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If Thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But He answered and said, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto Him, If Thou be the Son of God, cast Thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning Thee: and in their hands they shall bear Thee up, lest at any time Thou dash Thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto Him, All these things will I give Thee, if Thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, satan: for It is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” (Matt. 4:1-10)

What an awesome passage of scripture; one, as I said, we’ve read through as Christians a thousand times but concentrating, Father, just on the words of Mashiach, Your Beloved Son, is going to be something of delight, I think; something of an adventure, I think, and something of awe as we behold Your revelatory power this week.

So we’ll be starting, God willing, Father, by Your power with verse 4 today in It Is Written, Part 1, hallelujah! And this is podcast season 347 that You have me entering into on Your behalf. Father, I’m praying that You would step ahead of me – I step back in Yeshua’s mighty Name – and teach us what we will focus on. Teach me what I will say, teach me what I will pray for the edification always of the hearers. Hallelujah! I cover all of the hearers and listeners with the Blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach Ha Notzri, and I declare that the enemy or his hordes has no part or lot in this podcast or Your heart’s desire or message to the listeners through this podcast, Father. I encircle them with Your ministering and warring angels, with your angels of concentration and warfare so the Blood of Yeshua will be applied and that circle around them will cause the Blood of Yeshua to just be focused on them, to soak and saturate all of the listeners and hearers and they will benefit thereby, by Your Blood, power, and listening and hearing powers; Your anointing to understand and comprehend. I call forth Your shield of protection over them and Your Spirit of Safety to guard and guide them along their travels today, Father, to and from work, school, running errands, church, meeting friends, whatever they’re doing on Your behalf I speak the Blood of Yeshua over them and Your shield of protection over them. Hallelujah! The joy of the Lord be theirs, which is their strength. In Yeshua’s Mighty Name I commit, commend them to Your custody and hands, Father, and I rejoice in that we are going to learn and feed from Your very hand yet again this week in this podcast series, in the Name of Yeshua I thank You and rejoice. Amen.

Part 1, as I prayed, focuses on verse 4 which I think is really awesome. Any time our focus is taken away from the enemy and just put on Jesus, everything is better all the way around. Hallelujah! Of course, the enemy came at the time when – he thought, with his puny mind – that Yeshua would actually be at His weakest and the only thing weak about the Savior at the time was His flesh, which the Lord God had angels come and minister to. But the willing Spirit (remember the Lord said in the garden, “the Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”) was strong and certainly strong enough to defeat the ridiculousness of the enemy. This was no encounter with Adam and Eve; I love that, and I also love the answer of Yeshua to the enemy’s temptation to feed His flesh and to come out prematurely from the fast the Lord had assigned for Him to strengthen Him before His ministry to the world. Yeshua answered and said, “It is written…” Hallelujah! The enemy was defeated and still is defeated by Yeshua in us just like he was defeated by Yeshua in the wilderness, through the intelligent use of the scriptures. Hallelujah! Wielding them in faith because the scriptures indeed are the Word of God. Hallelujah!

The bottom line here, child of God, is READ YOUR BIBLE. Let it in. Cause God to equip you with it even as Yeshua on earth was equipped with it. His answer to the enemy was, “… it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Hallelujah! I think that is marvelous, especially given the truth that Yeshua Himself is the Word of God. We will not live by dead bread, or that which temporarily consoles hunger pangs and calms and soothes the stomach and digestive tract. We will not live the life the Lord has set before us to live by living on that alone – no sir. For in the Book of John, remember, Yeshua tells His disciples, “…My words are Spirit and they are Life.” And He says also there that “…the flesh profits nothing.” N o t h i n g. And the enemy only has eyes for the flesh. Remember when Yeshua rebuked the enemy’s influence over Peter, He said, “… get away from Me, you make me sick; you are an offense unto Me because you savor (care about) only the things of flesh/men, and not the things of Spirit/the things of God.” So, child of God, what the Lord wants you to know here is that we are to soak in and savor and honor and regard with our very lives every single word of the Living God which is Spirit and is Life. We are to wield that savoring, wield our protection by the Word of God in the face of the enemy and tell him that we are not paying attention to the dead bread that earth provides, the dead, temporary morsels that are here on earth, hallelujah, the bread that perishes. Remember, He told the people who came after Him, seeking Him, (and they were trying to put on a front like they were there for Him and they wanted more of His ministry) He basically said the jig is up, you guys, I know and I’m going to let you know right to your face that you are following after me because you crave the loaves and fishes; you were fed the bread that doesn’t last but only temporarily satiates your soul. You were delighted by the multiplication of the loaves and fishes but, listen to Me, as I urge you to labor not for the things that perish. Don’t spend all your time and effort, don’t put your all into bread that perishes. But go for the things that are eternal, go for the things that will take you from earth to heaven, seek My Word, seek My will – they are meat and drink indeed. He said to the disciples at the well in Sychar, Samaria, My meat is to do the will of Him Who sent Me. And it is written that we shall not live by earthen things alone or make our dwelling, sustenance, and attentions revolve around that which is temporary. But we were created, destined, and purposed to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Living God. Hallelujah! The Spirit of God proceeds out of the mouth of Mashiach, Mashiach out of the mouth of the Eternal God. We are meant to live our lives according to the steadfast love and faithfulness of the Godhead – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Why? It Is Written.

Father, in the Name of Yeshua, this is magnificent! I love Your Word. So do so many others of Your children, dear God, who tune in – not just to this podcast every day, but – to YOU every day through whatever voice is out there and also through intimate time spent alone with You. Dear God, You have much children, You have many children in this place and every place. Hallelujah! You have let us know that.

Bless Your Holy Name, Father, for Your scripture and for Your awesome series “It Is Written”, I’m praying that every word that proceeds out of Your mouth during this series we will ingest, heartily and with joy and to our benefit, not just during the time that the podcast runs, but through all of the days of our lives, and we will share Your goodness and truths with others.

Holy Father, I commit and press every word that is revealed to us by Your Spirit into the listeners in Yeshua’s Name, from the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet in every portion that You allot, in every way that You command and commend, Father, I agree. In Yeshua’s Mighty Name I ask that You would go with them and stand by them this day to always comfort, to always encourage, to always admonish where they need admonishing, dear God, be the Father to us that You long to be. We open our hearts and minds, we open our hands to receive Your goodness. Cloak us ever with Your Humility so that we will never be high-minded but we will be of the mind to receive from You Whose hand is higher and greater than all in our lives to our benefit, healing, health, wholeness, in the Name of Yeshua.

Father I commit and appoint this day to Your purposes, plans, and glory in our lives, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name I pray and thank You for it, dear God. Amen.

346T – Summary Prayer

346T – Summary Prayer

It’s time for another season of Pocket of Prayer. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and good night. This is Miss Obed, an obedient servant of the Living God, and I am welcoming you to the podcast for today, Friday, Yom Shishi. Podcast season 346 is upon us and in this podcast, God willing, I will offer a summary prayer for all of you to receive everything this really awesome series, Forgiving, Forgetting, has bestowed upon us from the hand and heart of Almighty God, hallelujah! Forgiving, Forgetting… let’s pray:

Father, in the Name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach Ha Notzri, I thank You so much for this week of podcasts, for Your benevolent hand upon us, dear God, for each and every listener. In the Name of Yeshua I ask that You would cause the listeners by Your power to come into and receive all the fruits of Your benevolence, all the fruits of Your might, all the fruits of Your will concerning their lives in the topic of Forgiving, Forgetting. Let them receive them in the double portion, dear God. From podcast 342 where we talked about why we should forgive – Why Should I Forgive? And where we discovered that the whole point of Christianity is to be transformed by Your power, Father, into the image of Christ. Thank You, Father, for just presenting Your wisdom to us and Your will to us in reasons why forgiveness needs to empower the lives of every believer.

On Tuesday, podcast season 343, thank You Father for just rolling up Your sleeves and giving us a hands-on in spiritual warfare regarding, how do we forgive? Podcast 343 was a workshop in warfare and, for those of you who are absolutely determined to allow God to change your lives regarding past hurts and sins committed against you and regarding what the scriptures refer to as “ought”, the ought we hold in our hearts (in other words, the offense we hold in our hearts towards another person), for those of you who set your caps and said, I’m going to live a different, better life. I’m not going to hold grudges and unforgiveness, season 343 is the season for you because, like I said, Abba rolls up His sleeves and says, this is how it’s done; this is how we forgive. Then Wednesday, Yom Revi’i, we started getting into forgetting with why should I forget? Why should I forget, Father? And with His usual, kind, self the Lord offered the reasons, the main one being – it’s scripture. The Word of God commands that we forget. But God does qualify it. My best friend, Blessed, asked the same thing when she heard Wednesday’s podcast; she was like, yeah, but certain things you shouldn’t forget, right? I thought that was very open and honest of her, I really appreciated it because at one point that was my response also. I think it’s completely reasonable – and so does the Lord – for us to make further inquiries. The scriptures command that I forget but, how much do I forget? What are the qualifiers? Where Wednesday’s was the preamble, Thursday’s was the actual payoff. Season 345 addressed the question, how do I forget? In that, the Lord does give certain boundaries regarding forgetting. He lets us know He’s not talking about forgetting His powers of discernment or wisdom in various situations. For the rest of that, please do tune in that podcast if you haven’t already, because He rolls up His sleeves again and brings forth another workshop into just how, by His power in spiritual warfare and by your choice, we can forget. We are meant to forgive and forget, child of God. But it’s not by man’s qualifications or parameters, design, or designations; it’s by GOD’S definitions that we are meant to forgive and forget. This podcast series is the perfect series to start the year; you’ve heard me say that before, because we want a clean slate before God, we want a pure and righteous slate before God; we want Him to be pleased with us, and we want to be comfortable with ourselves in Him. We want to be able to rest assured that everything the Lord commands of us we are meeting in His obedience in us. It takes God’s Spirit in us to accomplish everything. It takes God within us for us to please God, it takes God within us for our breath, for everything because we are not the Creator, we are the created, and we need the Lord. Hallelujah. We need the Lord, we need His Word, we need to read the scriptures every day and be determined to live our lives in such a way that when we stand before Mashiach (and we will ALL stand alone before Him), we can say, Lord, I did what You asked me to do. We can stand before Him with clean hands and a pure heart. Isn’t that what you want? That’s what we all want. Amen.

So, Father, in the Name of Yeshua, given all the marvelous equipping that You have done for us in undergirding our understanding and then equipping us with what it takes to forgive and forget, I pray every ounce of what was conveyed within the podcasts this week into the lives of all those listening, past, present, and future in Yeshua’s Name, and I pray and impart it to them all in the double portion in Yeshua’s Name, from the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet. That it would stand faithfully by them, that Your truths would be their shield and buckler, that You would remind them what heart, mind, and attitude they are to be of concerning the things of You. Father, give them tender hearts in Yeshua’s Name and incline them to come to You that You will replace any hearts of stone in the listeners and that You would give them hearts of flesh that You can work with, bless, mold and make after Your will, dear God, because You ARE the Potter and we are the clay. I ask, Father, that You cause Your Spirit to diminish all difficulties in the hearts of those listening in faith determined to allow You to change their ways. I’m asking that You would diminish the difficulties that surround them and that try to block their way in making life-changing decisions, dear God. That You would cause them to understand, perceive, and let it come easily to them how to bow their knees to You, dear God, and submit to Your ways and will over their lives.  In the Name of Yeshua, on behalf of all the listeners… Get thee hence, satan, I command you! Get thee hence…you have no part nor lot in the lives of God’s children and, in the Name of Yeshua – the Name that is above EVERY name – I command you to be gone from here.

Angels of God, encircle the listeners by Yeshua’s power, and let nothing, no one, and no spirit through except the Godhead – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – except the will and voice of the Godhead, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name. I cover and seal again those listening with the impenetrable Blood of Yeshua and declare that the enemy and his hordes has no part, lot, nor place in any of them or their lives or their children’s lives, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name. Father everything important to You I ask that You would cause the importance of it to rise up in every listener, by Your Spirit, that the things that are important to You would be important to them. That You would take them by the hand and lead them step-by-step through every day of forgiving, forgetting, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name, so that they will become vessels of the Most High God and Your righteousness of Spirit in the way they carry and conduct themselves daily will show the world they are the children of the Most High God in word, spirit, and truth, in Yeshua’s Name. I ask that You increase their hunger and thirst for intimacy with You; increase their hunger and thirst for reading and absorbing Your word and submitting to all of Your word’s commands that we love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and then, dear Father, that we love our neighbors as ourselves. Because loving You, submitting to You and Your transformation, loving others and sharing You with others is what the Christian life is all about. Dear God, I’m asking that You just cloak them with Your humility and Spirit of obedience, compliance, and the JOY that You have and are, which is their eternal strength. Go with them and stand by them, dear God. I’m asking that You, Your Spirit, Your Presence, and unfailing, passionate love would go before them to guide them, beside them to comfort them, within them to refresh them, and behind them to watch over them. In Yeshua’s Mighty Name, I commit them to Your hands in every way, form, and shape. In Your Name and for Your sake, dear God, I appoint this day in their lives to all Your purposes, plans, and glory, that they would continually shine as Your lights in the world, drawing others to You. Dear God, give them what they will say and speak; cause them to be faithful, capable witnesses wielding Your truths through the intelligent use of the scriptures. In Yeshua’s Name, God, give every listener what they stand in need of; give every listener all they stand in need of to please You today and every day. In Yeshua’s Mighty Name and for His sake I pray and thank You, Father. Amen.

If you are listening to me and you are not saved, but you want to be saved because you do want to live a righteous life, not a wicked life and not be led around by your flesh any longer but be led in the ways of holiness – without which no one will see God – and by holiness the Lord means separation from this sinful world and the fleshly, rot-gut things of this world…

If you are reading this right now, and you want to be saved, pray the Prayer for Salvation from our top menu, and give your heart and life to Messiah Jesus today. God bless you!
